Solomons VRSFD 1st Annual Motorcycle Rodeo

Solomons VRSFD is in need of a new pumper truck. We will be holding the 1st ever motorcycle rodeo in Calvert County to raise money to help with the cost of the pumper truck. This fundraiser event will start off with a poker run, registration for the poker run will be at 9am at Solomons fire department, kick stands up at 10am, we will be stopping at 4 other fire departments to draw a card and the last card will be pulled at Solomons VRSFD.

The motorcycle rodeo will start at 1pm. Events that will take place will be jousting on motorcycles, slow race, keg roll, hot dog bite off, cone race with tennis balls, and the bartender server. All the events will be judged by points and there will be trophies given out for 1st and 2nd place for each event and a big trophy for overall. There also will be a tug-a-war event for bikers against fire fighters, and a honey I'm home event.

We will have bands playing music throughout the day. There will be food vendors, beer vendors, craft vendors, Harley vendors, other bike vendors and much much more! So mark your calendar because this is going to be one you don't want to miss.
