Ride away Chris
Sometimes a man will bite the bit and live in misery,
Heíll stick with it through thick and thin in a fake normality.
Heíll let the world walk over him and just live day to day.
When I feel like that or Iím misunderstood I simply ride away.
I donít think of the consequences, or of what I leave behind,
Peopleís feelings and my responsibilities donít even cross my mind.
When times are rough and I feel bad and itís been a trying day,
I pack up all my belongings and simply ride away.
I wonít gesture as I leave, or call you some rude name
Youíre entitled to be the way you are, and Iím entitled to the same.
Iíll shake you firmly by the hand, and wish you all a good day.
Then collect all my belongings, and simply ride away.
Iíll always be an outcast but itís not because of you.
I choose to be the way I am, it may be strange but itís true.
When I feel Iíve had enough, and thereís nothing else to say
Iíll pack my bag, put on my lid, and simply ride away.
