Tahoe Blue & Green Sprouts
Second Sunday of the month
We're meeting just to ride
Fourth Sunday of the month
We'll ride to the meeting
New people have joined with us today
Watching as we go out to play
We're going up to see, some Tahoe blue
Sticky's taking us to Sprouts, to have a little chew
We take the highway, to the land that's vertical
Greenery surrounds us, with vistas far and wide
With such immense beauty, that has no rational
I sense the feelings coming, from way down deep inside
I feel the drop of water, it hits my face and sears
Though it's not raing on us, it's only Betty's tears
Caused by all the joyousness, of being in his grace
They well up in all of us, but come leaking out her face
Here we are at sticky's choice, the food that she adores
I think I'll go down the road a piece, and find the carnivores
After all that riding, to make this ride complete
I need to get my hands on, a great big sandwich of meat
As friends all sit around, enjoying this great break
Watching all the people, play around the lake
It fills my mind with feelings, feelings I can share
It couldn't be more wonderful, than if I'd said a prayer
As we travel down the mountains, and wander thru the hills
I see that Sara is practicing , all her painting skills
Now lean into that corner and don't be going right
Trying to ride outside the lines, is not a pretty sight
I want to thank my club for sure, as seeing this is true
I wouldn't be half as happy, if it weren't for all of you
I really ride way in the back, acting like your sweep
Hiding behind mirrored shades, so you don't see me weep
Written in God's time.
