                   Day Ride
 
I awakened this morning
just like you;
 
Prepared to go to work
the normal thing to do.
 
What a nice day,
so I decided to ride
 
My Harley was parked
just out side.
 
So I headed to work
same old roads, you know;
 
I made a wrong turn
and so and so....
 
When I arrived back home
I thought, you jerk
 
I had completely forgotten
to go to work.
